ATTENTION CLASS OF 2021!!

Graduation is officially less than a month away! 

As we slowly come closer to the end of the school year, there are many senior events coming up that we encourage all seniors to take part.

April 30 College Decision Day – Students will have the opportunity to state their college/career/military intentions. 

May 4 Turn in all scholarships you have been awarded to the Counseling Center. This information is required in order to be 

recognized at Senior Honor Night. 

May 7 In START: Complete Senior Intent Survey (Mandatory).

May 8 IWCC Graduation – (ECA Students) Graduation Ceremonies will be held at IWCC at 10:00am

May 12 Senior Honor Night – recognized students will receive an invitation to this event.  To attend, students must turn in

awarded scholarships and awards they have received this school year by the May 4th deadline.  

May 17        Seniors meet in the auditorium during START (4th, 5th, or 6th hour) to get check-out sheets & Senior Survey.

May 17-18        Finals for Seniors – Get check-out sheets signed by teachers w/ PASS/FAIL.

May 18        Seniors’ Last Day! Chromebook Check-In from 1:30 – 4:30; Fines Checkoff: 1:30-4:30 following Tech Center sign off

May 19        Graduation Final Check-out is upstairs of TJAC; 8:30 am to 12:00pm.— ALL class work must be done! Bring 

completed check-out sheet. All information on the sign out sheet must be complete. NOTE—if all work is not complete and you do not check out by 3 p.m. on May 19, you will NOT walk at graduation.

May 20        Graduation Rehearsal —MANDATORY ATTENDANCE for entire time

Time: 9:30am at the Mid-America Center (busing will be provided from TJHS leaving at TBD).  

May 22        Graduation—MUST be at the MAC by 9:00 a.m  Ceremony at 10:00 a.m.

Wear your cap and gown with appropriate clothing and shoes.  Enter the Convention Center DOORS & line-up in the back room.  You will keep your cap, gown, tassel, medallion, and stole.  Students, do not bring other items with you as there is no place to store them.  

*** FAMILIES: Enter in the SOUTH DOORS Due to COVID families will be limited to of guests for the graduation ceremony per senior.  More information at a later date. (No cost required for admittance) 

** No parents allowed in the line-up room (Convention Center DOORS); take pictures before/after the graduation ceremony.
