For the year 2020, we’ve had our ups and downs of the entire year. It was definitely an experience, to say the least. This year’s Yearbook cover is finally in. Teagan O’Shea, a senior, who worked with the Yearbook staff and committee, created the front cover design. This year’s theme is “You should have seen it in color”. The Yearbook will feature different mandala designs and coloring pages for the viewer to color. The book’s cover will have a matte finish along with the pages to make each of them colorable. Pages will contrast with some being in black and white, and others in full color. Photos will be in color already.

Each book will come with a small box of colored pencils that contain six colors each. Yearbooks this year will be $60.00, an increase in price from last year’s $55. Due to Covid-19, the Yearbook staff not only lost members but also advertisement, which made up for most of the funds that they would normally receive.

According to Lindquist, the teacher and adviser for the Yearbook staff and journalism team, Yearbooks are set to arrive within the first week of May. In advance, he explains, Yearbooks may be delayed due to deadlines and plant production. Last year, Jostens, our Yearbook company, closed one of their production centers due to Covid-19, this could affect when we will receive our Yearbook. We are looking forward to seeing how the rest of the year will pan out, and we all are waiting to see what our yearbook will look like in color.
