After our two weeks of social distancing, we decided to quarantine for one more week, because we didn’t want to take any chances. Just because everyone in the house was clear of COVID, that didn’t mean we could quit our social distancing, disinfecting, and wearing a mask everywhere. We still had germs in the house, and we didn’t want to share them with anyone who came through the house or anywhere we went.
“There are so many events I missed out on while in quarantine, like funerals and parties, but I had to remain at home,” Patrice says.
“Just because I got COVID once, doesn’t mean I won’t get it again or it won’t find its way back into our house. We are still being very careful with events we attend or just a trip to the grocery store.”
It is encouraged to take this pandemic very seriously. Wash your hands, disinfect, wear a mask, and stay home and social distance.
